Job summary

ENFRA LLC in Mississippi seeks a BIM/VDC Technician I to support development of basic shop drawings and learn BIM workflows within a construction technology environment.

You will collaborate across teams to interpret specifications, understand mechanical and plumbing systems, and progressively master Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Stratus while gaining field exposure and ethical professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Aptitude for technical means and methods.
• Analytical and structural mindset.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to multitask and support various ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to develop the ability to interpret specifications and contract documents accurately.
• Build foundational knowledge of the mechanical and plumbing systems represented in our drawings.
• Learn the basics of how to read and interpret code.
• Learn the fundamentals of shop drawing creation, file management, and technical communication.
• Strive for proficiency in Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, Navisworks Manage, Bluebeam, Stratus and other BIM software’s.
• Learn to communicate effectively with internal team members.
• Begin to understand BIMs financial impacts on projects.
• Spend some time in the field to learn what elements lead to successful projects.
• Learn the BOM, fabrication drawing, and Trimble layout basics.
• Adheres to the departmental code of ethics while exemplifying a level of professionalism that appropriately represents the Company.
• Provides production of models and shop drawings
