Description

Pay Range: Up to $24.50/hour for clinical work* (based on experience)

What you’ll do as a Behavior Technician:
  • Work one-on-one with children with autism in our centers or home-based settings.
  • Reinforce positive behaviors using therapeutic techniques learned in our industry-leading training program.
  • Track client progress and growth by maintaining electronic health data on your company-provided iPad.

Qualifications

  • Good judgment in responding to common client situations.
  • Effective and compassionate communication skills with children and caregivers.
  • Anyone seeking a rewarding career working with children is encouraged to apply. Experience as a camp counselor, nanny, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, teacher's aide, or childcare volunteer is welcome!
What you need:
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families impacted by autism.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Willingness to learn and comfort with tablet technology.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to various locations.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate session times preferred by families.

*The pay scale reflects ACES' typical hourly wages for clinical work. Non-clinical work (training, travel, meetings) is paid at $10.00/hour.
