Pay Range: $17 - $21 /hour for clinical work* (based on experience)

Role Overview

As a Behavior Technician, you will support ACES’ clients by helping them enhance communication, problem-solving, and social skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion.

What You’ll Do
  1. Work one-on-one with children with autism in our centers or home-based settings.
  2. Reinforce positive behavior using therapeutic techniques learned in our industry-leading training program.
  3. Track client progress and growth with electronic health data on a company-provided iPad.

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Have patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
  • Exhibit good judgment in response to client situations.
  • Possess effective and compassionate communication skills.
  • Are seeking a rewarding career working with children; previous experience as a camp counselor, nanny, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, or childcare volunteer is welcome. All applicants are encouraged!
Requirements
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families impacted by autism.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Willingness to learn and navigate tablet technology.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to various locations.
  • Flexible schedule to meet client needs.
  • Note: The specified pay range applies to clinical work; non-clinical work is paid at $14.81/hour.
