Job summary

Citi is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker SAFE Act in New York to assist in sales, service, and building customer relationships. You will work with the customer service team to foster loyalty and help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities include processing small business requests, cross-selling treasury products, and coaching branch staff on product referrals while following Citi policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work with loan requests under $250K and refer larger opportunities.
• Build referral opportunities through COIs and MGM program.
• Grow small business client base with targeted sales plans.
• Deliver outbound/inbound calls to acquire and deepen relationships through cross-sell of products and services.
• Coach tellers and branch staff on products and referrals.
• Educate clients on service channels and present financial solutions while ensuring compliance.
