SDCCU in San Diego is hiring an Entry Level Bank Teller (Mira Mesa). In this full-time role you will greet members, process routine transactions, and help customers with their financial needs while delivering friendly, accurate service.

You will work with a team to meet branch goals, handle cash with care, and comply with AML, BSA, and other regulatory requirements. A high school diploma and 6 months of customer service experience are required; cash handling experience is a plus.

  • Accurately process routine member account transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wires, etc.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer; follow branch operations, policy and procedures and risk management requirements.
  • Use strong communication skills to understand and clarify members’ financial needs, provide options.
  • Identify and offer products and services to members or refer to an appropriate representative.
  • Work with branch team members to achieve personal and branch performance goals.
  • Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements including AML, BSA, OFAC, CTR, MISP.

Position Summary:

Member Service Representative I is responsible for building meaningful relationships with members while delivering efficient, accurate and exceptional service. As an employee of the credit union, Member Service Representative I is expected to promote Credit Union products and services to existing and potential members and work with a dedicated team of professionals to support the organization’s mission and values.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of customer service experience.
