Job summary

Branson Design Group, LLC is seeking an entry-level AV Technician I to join our Boerne-based installation team. You’ll support rough-in through final commissioning on residential smart home projects, learning on the job with senior technicians.

The role emphasizes hands-on field work, safety, and client-facing communication, with opportunities for manufacturer certification and growth into lead technician roles.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of AV/low-voltage installation experience (training provided).
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, ladders, attics/crawlspaces.
• Basic understanding of low-voltage wiring or willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Install AV, network, surveillance, control, and lighting equipment per project scope.
• Run and terminate low-voltage cabling neatly and to code.
• Mount and wire racks, TVs, speakers, cameras, APs, and touchscreens.
• Log daily work in D-Tools Cloud: clock in/out, checklist items, progress photos.
