Job summary

Branson Design Group, LLC in Boerne, TX is seeking an entry-level AV Technician I to support residential smart home and AV projects from rough-in through commissioning. You will work with Lead Technicians to install equipment, run low-voltage cabling, and log progress; training is provided to develop hands-on skills in a growing, low-voltage trade.

The role emphasizes reliability, physical stamina, attention to detail, and professional client communication on-site.

Qualifications

0–2 years of AV/low-voltage installation experience; training provided.
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work daily.
Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Install AV, network, surveillance, control, and lighting equipment per project proposals and scope.
Run and terminate low-voltage cabling neatly and to code.
Mount and wire racks, TVs, speakers, cameras, access points, and touchscreens.
Log daily work in D-Tools Cloud and post progress photos.
Stage and organize daily materials for each project.
Support Lead Technician during commissioning and system stress-testing.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
Follow all safety procedures and field injury protocols.
Communicate professionally with clients and team on-site.
