Job summary

Bluewater Technologies Group, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician at entry level in Kentwood, MI.

This full-time role supports the successful installation of audiovisual systems and offers on-the-job training to build foundational AV skills. You'll train in reading prints, cable pulling, mounting displays, projectors, speakers, and other AV equipment, with opportunities to learn and apply safety practices.

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft suite)
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
• Must be comfortable in a stressful atmosphere
• Flexibility to work extended hours including nights, weekends and occasional travel

Responsibilities

• On-the-job training provided in reading Bluewater construction and AV flow prints
• Learn proper cable pulling techniques including following a cable pull schedule, labeling, and routing
• Acquire knowledge to distinguish wire type, usage, and color difference
• Train on ladders, lifts, and power tools in a safe manner per OSHA
• Gain skills to mount displays, projectors, speakers, screens, and cameras
• Learn to terminate all wire types and connectors by compression, crimp, solder, or punch down
• Assist with other duties as assigned
