The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician in Westminster, CO to gain hands-on experience in our Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information to identify problems and make decisions.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
• Willingness to learn new automotive technologies in a fast-paced service environment.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal auto training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in basic automotive services while delivering outstanding guest service.
• Learn to mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Train with mid and senior level technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate clear communication and teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies and proper vehicle care procedures.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and standing.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Shift Information:

Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays

About the Role: What skills will you learn?

• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional automotive services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles

• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
