Job summary

Bergey's of Wilkes Barre is looking for a skilled-level technician to diagnose and repair vehicles across multiple areas, aligned with dealership and factory standards. You will perform electrical and mechanical diagnoses and repairs, with opportunities to specialize in particular areas of repair.

Responsibilities include communicating with parts, documenting work, road testing when needed, and upholding safety.

Qualifications

• ASE Certifications required or preferred.
• State Emission Certification required.
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Background checks and drug screening completed successfully.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and diagnostic work to dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses malfunctions and performs repairs across all areas and specialties.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts for warranty or customer requests.
• Examines vehicles to identify additional safety or service work.
• Notifies service advisor if additional work is needed or timelines change.
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles as required or condoned by the test technician.
• Assists with other tasks as assigned.
