Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an entry-level automotive technician in Madison Heights, MI. Training will be provided to perform basic services such as mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and preventative maintenance. You will work with skilled technicians to learn new skills and deliver excellent guest service.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18; ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and filter replacements.
• Train with mid and senior automotive technicians to expand service knowledge.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about vehicles.

Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays
