Goodyear is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers in the United States. You will learn basic services, including tire mounting/balancing and oil changes, while delivering outstanding guest service.

Train with mid and senior technicians to expand your automotive skills and adhere to safety policies. Weekend availability and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Learn basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires and oil changes.
Train with mid and senior technicians to expand service knowledge.
Provide clear communication about guest vehicles and demonstrate strong guest service.
Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations and follow safety policies.
Perform manual tasks, including lifting tires and wheels, as part of daily duties.

About the Role: What skills will you learn?

As an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands‑on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

How to complete basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters replacements, and more.

Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional automotive services.

Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.

Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.

Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.

Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Shift Information

Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays.
