Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician in Hawaii. You will gain hands-on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers, learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided and you’ll be trained by mid and senior technicians to expand your skill set and career potential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Age requirement: at least 18 years old.
• No prior automotive experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Learn to mount and balance tires, perform oil changes and basic preventative maintenance.
• Train with mid- and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and safety.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks including lifting and handling tires and wheels.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $23.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. • Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or Previous formal automotive training
