Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician in Honolulu, HI. You will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

You will learn tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and preventative maintenance while working with experienced technicians. The role offers competitive base pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions

Responsibilities

• Learn to complete basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and other preventative maintenance
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles to ensure excellent guest service
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform a variety of manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending and squatting for extended periods

Education

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $22.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays.
