Sacramento Motors in Sacramento, CA is seeking an entry-level automotive technician or lube technician to join our Service Department. We’ll provide paid training and help you build your skills as you grow with our shop.

You’ll perform basic maintenance on customer vehicles and assist with inspecting and preparing used vehicles for the road. No prior experience is required, and we offer a clear path for long-term growth within the shop.

Responsibilities

• Document completed work and report concerns to the lead technician.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Role Description

Sacramento Motors is looking for a dependable, motivated entry-level automotive technician or lube technician to join our Service Department.

You’ll perform basic maintenance on customer vehicles and help inspect and service used vehicles we’re preparing for the road. Some hands-on automotive experience is a plus, but you don’t need to know everything—we’ll provide paid training and help you build your skills as you grow with our shop.

What You’ll Do

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and tire-pressure checks.
• Check fluid levels and complete basic vehicle inspections.
• Assist with battery testing, replacement, and routine maintenance.
• Help inspect and service used vehicles during reconditioning.
• Document completed work and report concerns to the lead technician.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
• Learn additional maintenance and repair tasks as your skills develop.
