Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. seeks a Software Quality & Testing Engineer to elevate software quality in the Vehicle Software and Electronics Engineering organization. You will craft and execute behavior tests using Agile methods, collaborating with product owners, developers, and testers.

The role involves developing automated test solutions, understanding safety and compliance requirements, and executing tests across HIL/SIL environments and vehicles. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Graduating between Dec 2026 – June 2027.
• Must be able to work in Southeast Michigan and full-time (40 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Develop test cases to assess software products at solution, system, and feature levels.
• Develop robust continuous automation methods using tests/frameworks.
• Understand functional, safety, and compliance requirements; implement test plans.
• Execute test plans on hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, test benches, and vehicles.
• Identify, document and resolve software problems; share learnings with the team.
• Collaborate with controls, diagnostic, system engineering and software teams to define acceptance criteria.
• Travel as required.
