Job summary

Team Car Care, operating as Jiffy Lube, is hiring a General Service Technician in Harker Heights, TX. This entry-level role provides specialized service training and certification through an established program, with a focus on guest satisfaction and vehicle care.

You will start in an entry-level GST position, servicing guests’ vehicles and gaining expertise through our training program. Opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits are available, including daily pay and uniforms

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication about guest vehicles
• Ensure the service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Document all work on the repair order
• Report safety issues to management
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
