Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in North Las Vegas is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical services such as oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, wheel rotation, and basic inspections. You will work alongside ASE Certified technicians and receive training to advance toward ASE certification, making this a strong starting point for a automotive career.

Primary duties include safely transporting customers when needed, collecting parts, performing basic services under supervision,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and service areas.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
