Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Chandler, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical auto services such as oil changes, tire work, and light maintenance. This role supports the shop by driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the workspace clean and organized.

Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18, and possess a basic understanding of under-hood and under-car components. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using multi-point inspection/Repair Order.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and appearance.
• Drives vehicles safely and transports parts and customers.
• Conducts safety inspections where applicable.
• Follows all safety procedures and company policies.
• Flexible scheduling, including weekends.
