Team Car Care Dba Jiffy Lube in Seaford, NY is hiring a General Service Technician for part-time, entry-level service roles. You will service guest vehicles and participate in our training program to gain certification across offered services. Roles emphasize guest experience, teamwork, and safety compliance.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 months of customer-facing experience, are 18+, and can read safety instructions. We offer 401K, bonuses, daily pay, insurance, and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.).
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays.
• Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Ensure the service center is clean and presentable.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians.
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates and ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels; complete vehicle inspection.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report safety issues to management and adhere to company policies.
