Group 1 Bob Howard Nissan is seeking a Service Technician Trainee to join our Nissan team. We are growing and have immediate positions for a motivated trainee to work with our Quality Dealership representing the Quality Nissan Product.

The role emphasizes customer service, a positive attitude, and teamwork. Training, advancement opportunities, and a structured program are provided in a professional work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent customer service is required.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic are essential.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, tire repairs, and basic brake services.
• Inspect and replace air, cabin, fuel, and other filters as needed.
• Check and maintain fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, belts, hoses, and other vehicle components.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Identify maintenance or repair needs and communicate them to the service advisor.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership procedures.
• Use automotive tools and shop equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all OSHA, dealership and safety requirements.
• Assist other technicians and service department personnel as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
