Job summary

The Maintenance Technician role at Bridgestone Retail Operations is an entry-level position where you will be part of a dynamic team servicing vehicles at our Firestone Complete Auto Care locations. The position offers full-time and part-time options with benefits from day one and a pay range of $17.39 to $27.17 per hour.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems, performing scheduled maintenance, tire and battery work, and road testing vehicles.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
