Job summary

RoviSys is hiring entry-level engineers in Houston to design and develop automation and electrical control systems that interface with process manufacturing equipment. You will work with a team of engineers and designers, traveling to client plants to assess existing systems and document them using P&ID, I/O lists, and process descriptions to define control schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field related to Engineering, Controls, or Systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Co-op experience or manufacturing process knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Design and develop electrical control systems interfacing with equipment and sensors.
• Architect solutions using appropriate technologies from database to UI tools.
• Provide clients with real-time, actionable process information.
• Develop quality code following standards.
• Work in a team with engineers and designers from RoviSys and partners.
• Grow into leading a team of engineers and technicians.
