Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician in Oswego, NY. You will gain hands-on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers, learning basic automotive services while delivering outstanding customer service.

No prior experience is required; extensive on-the-job training is provided allowing you to develop skills in tire mounting, balancing, oil changes, and preventative maintenance as you grow within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience isn't required for this position. You will be trained in any skills required.
• Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.
• Mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Train with technicians to learn additional automotive services and safety policies.
• Provide clear communication and guest service to customers.
