Job summary

The Automotive Maintenance Technician role at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is an entry level position within a supportive team. You will diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform preventive maintenance, and handle tire-related service. A valid driver’s license is required and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
  • Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Install and perform tire maintenance.
  • Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
  • Road test vehicles.
