Job summary

Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking a General Auto Service Tech / Entry-Level Mechanic. Experience of 1–2 years in automotive repair is required, and paid training is provided to help you progress within our family-owned group.

You will perform basic services, MPIs, and brake work while working toward technician certifications in well-organized, high-volume shops with supportive leadership and clear career paths.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance or repair experience required.
• Own a basic set of automotive repair tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services including oil changes, lube services, and fluid flushes.
• Complete Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs).
• Assist with brake services and gain hands-on experience toward certifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Skills

1+ year automotive repair experience

Own basic tools

Valid driver's license
