Northtown Hyundai in Amherst, NY is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance to dealership and factory standards. The role involves reading repair orders, diagnosing issues, and communicating with the Parts department to obtain needed parts.

You should have schooling in an automotive program or relevant experience, own tools, a valid NYS driver’s license, and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.

Formación

• Valid & active NYS Driver's License.
• Previous experience and/or schooling in automotive technician field preferred.
• Able to provide own tools for job.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with others.

Responsabilidades

• Receive repair orders from Service Advisors and perform work as outlined with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with Parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by customer.
• Examine vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is needed and inform the Service Advisor.
