Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join the Firestone Complete Auto Care team. You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform scheduled maintenance, install tires, batteries and shocks, and road test vehicles.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Experience in automotive service is preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and shock absorbers and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
