Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is seeking an entry-level Automotive Lube Technician to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and support our service team. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and efficient handling of routine duties.

You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine inspections, using manufacturer training to ensure quality service. We value a positive attitude, reliable attendance, and commitment to learning new technologies in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Excellent attendance in prior work or school.
• Apprenticeship experience a plus.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Past experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing and battery testing.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Complete multi-point inspection forms accurately for each vehicle.
• Utilize training provided by manufacturer and management.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in good condition.
• Participate in manufacturer trainings and programs.
• Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies.
