Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is hiring an entry-level Automotive Lube Technician to perform basic maintenance and support a busy service department.

You will perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine inspections, following safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and customer care, with opportunities to join training programs and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; automotive tech school certifications preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable attendance and a positive team attitude.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing and battery testing.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Complete the multi-point inspection form for each vehicle.
• Apply manufacturer and management training to daily tasks.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned in good or better condition.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
• Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies.
