Job summary

Giles Nissan Lafayette is hiring an Entry Level Quick Lube Technician to start a career in automotive service. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on learning, growth opportunities, and weekend‑off benefits in a supportive team environment.

Starting pay is $13/hour plus more with experience, with medical, vision and dental insurance, paid vacation, a 401(k) with company contributions, and advancement opportunities within the first 6 months.

Qualifications

• 18+ with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hardworking, eager to learn, and proud of doing the job right.
• Comfortable using tools and performing physical tasks.
• Team-oriented, positive, and professional.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacements, and vehicle inspections.
• Follow dealership and factory standards on all repair orders.
• Communicate effectively with parts department and service advisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and proper care of tools.
• Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools as needed.
• Deliver excellent service and attention to detail on every vehicle.
