Job summary

SingerLewak LLP in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to record transactions, prepare trial balances and basic financial statements. You will reconcile accounts, compute accruals and depreciation, and assist with audits.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting, are willing to learn, and may pursue CPA licensure. This is a full-time on-site role offering growth within a leading West Coast firm.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Records transactions in ledgers, prepares trial balances and simple financial statements.
• Reconciles accounts to control accounts.
• Performs schedule computations of accruals, property and equipment, and depreciation expense.
• Works effectively within given budgetary parameters; assist staff in prioritizing and managing their workload.
• Performs audit or review procedures as assigned by supervisors.
• Support internal and external audit engagements.

• Reconciles accounts to control accounts.
• Performs schedule computations of accruals, property and equipment, and calculates depreciation expense.
• Works effectively within given budgetary parameters; assist staff in prioritizing and managing their workload.Approaches projects with a sense of urgency and is completion orientated
• Performs audit or review procedures as assigned by supervisors.
• Support internal and external audit engagements

Qualifications

$29.80 - $32.70 an hour
