American Lawyers Group, PLLC, located across from the Fairfax County Courthouse, is expanding its team of family and criminal law attorneys in Virginia. The firm offers a generous salary and benefits and seeks candidates with a strong interest in domestic law including divorce, child custody, adoptions, and protective orders.

Virginia Bar admission is required; candidates who have already sat for the Virginia Bar Exam will be considered.

Qualifications

• Virginia Bar in good standing or eligible for admission.
• Interest in domestic law including divorce, custody/support, adoptions, DV and protective orders.
• Demonstrated litigation interest and ability to collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

For over 20 years, American Lawyers Group, PLLC has been a well-established law firm conveniently located across from the Fairfax County Courthouse. We have represented thousands of clients with their legal needs in Virginia.

We are looking to expand our team of dedicated family law attorneys & criminal law attorneys. Qualified candidates will have an interest in domestic law, including divorce, child custody/support, adoptions, domestic violence and protective orders.

This position requires a demonstrated interest in litigation and a willingness to collaborate with team members to provide our clients with excellent service.

Virginia Bar required, though compelling candidates who have already sat for the Virginia Bar Exam will be considered. Spanish language fluency is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

• Virginia State Bar member in good standing.
• Attorneys must possess excellent verbal and legal writing skills.
• Must own transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in legal research.
• Attend return hearings and pretrial conferences;
• Effectively manage time and deadlines.
