Job summary

South6Group in Cranston, RI is seeking an Assembler Tester I to perform basic assembly and testing of products and components. You will follow Manufacturing Process Sheets and Bills of Material, maintain inventory, and update the ERP with work performed.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to use hand and pneumatic tools, and the stamina to stand and lift up to 30 lbs. In-person, daytime hours with potential overtime and safety training.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to follow Manufacturing Process Sheets and BOMs precisely.
• Proficient with common hand and pneumatic tools.
• Experience using ERP systems for production updates is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and products per MPS and BOM.
• Review ERP daily to determine orders to process.
• Maintain inventory for production orders.
• Operate basic equipment and use hand/pneumatic tools.
• Perform tests after assembly to verify specs and quality.
• Rotate among stations to meet production needs.
