Job summary

Murray Equipment, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Assembler 1 for our TCS division in Fort Wayne, IN. The role focuses on assembling components and supporting the paint process to meet production requirements.

The candidate should be motivated to learn, mechanically inclined, and able to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment. 1st shift runs 8:00am to 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing/assembly and industrial painting experience is required.
• 2+ years of work with detailed written instructions desired.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts into completed units following standard procedures.
• Assist with paint preparation: cleaning, masking, mixing, staging materials.
• Record time and materials promptly and accurately; report scrap.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Identify and communicate quality or production concerns to supervision.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards.
