Job Title: Assembler

Location: Greensburg, PA

Pay: $16.50/hour

Shift: 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm (OT when required)

Position Overview:

The Assembler is responsible for assembling pre-hung door units according to customer specifications and safety and quality standards.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Review work orders to ensure correct customer specifications.
2. Inspect finished products for defects and perform touch-ups as needed.
3. Perform tasks on the production line.
4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
5. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Role Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions carefully.
• Proficiency with manufacturing tools and machinery (e.g., chop saw, door machine, router, nail gun).
• Forklift certification (depending on branch requirements).
• Familiarity with door components and assembly techniques is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Must have excellent manual dexterity, be able to lift up to 85 pounds frequently, and push up to 100 pounds. Ability to bend, crouch, stand, and sit for extended periods is required.

Work Environment:

Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and occasionally harsh outdoor weather. Use of safety equipment such as protective eyewear, earplugs, gloves, and safety shoes is required. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
