SFE Engineering seeks an entry-level Architectural Engineer to join our team in Flushing. This on-site role launches a career in architecture and planning, contributing to design, analysis, and coordination from concept to construction.

You will work with experienced engineers to develop safe, functional, and visually compelling solutions, preparing drawings, performing calculations, and ensuring codes and client requirements are met. This position offers hands-on experience and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Entry-level experience or internship in architectural or structural engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Basic understanding of structural analysis and building systems.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work on-site and participate in site visits.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the preparation of architectural and engineering drawings and plans
• Support senior engineers with structural analysis and design calculations
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency
• Review drawings and specifications for compliance with building codes
• Participate in site visits and assist with construction observation
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project correspondence
• Use CAD and BIM software to develop and revise project models
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants on project deliverables
• Assist in resolving design and construction-related issues
• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Stay informed about industry standards, materials, and building technologies
• Support the team in meeting project deadlines and client expectations
