Job summary

AECOM seeks an Entry-Level Architectural Designer to join our Ohio Buildings + Places Team in Columbus, OH. You will support a variety of project types through design and documentation, gaining hands-on experience while developing technical and design skills.

This role offers mentorship, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to contribute to design development, client presentations, and project deliverables across all phases.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Architecture or equivalent education.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Willingness to pursue licensure and professional development.
• Strong design and drafting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in high-energy, collaborative team and project environments.
• Provide design and documentation support on projects of various sizes, type and complexity.
• Produce rapid visualization of design concepts and assist with building presentations to clients.
• Develop iterative solutions for a variety of design working under supervision by senior design staff.
• Adapts and modifies design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations.
• Coordinates design activities with other engineering disciplines.
• Participate in design through all phases, from concept to construction administration.
