Bartlett Tree Experts is hiring an Arborist Climber Trainee in North Ridgeville, OH to join a tree care crew and gain practical field experience in scientific tree and shrub care on residential and commercial properties.

This entry-level role provides hands-on training, safety-first culture, and opportunities for advancement. A valid driver's license is required; prior related experience is a plus, not a must.

Qualifications

• Entry-level trainee program with hands-on, on-the-job training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf care, or horticulture experience preferred but not required.
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn on-the-job to safely perform all aspects of arboriculture: tree climbing, pruning, rigging, cabling and bracing, removal of hazardous trees, tree identification, and equipment operation.
• Implement work zone safety procedures and assist Arborist Climbers and Crew Leaders on ground and aloft.
• Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.
