e-EMPHASYS TECHNOLOGIES INC is seeking an entry-level Internal Forward Deployed Engineer in Cary, NC. The role focuses on translating business workflows into technical AI solutions and supporting production deployments.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate in CS/AI/ML with solid Python skills, strong fundamentals, and a keen willingness to learn and collaborate with business stakeholders and a Senior AI Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed recently in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Strong programming fundamentals and Python experience demonstrated through internships, research, coursework, or projects.
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, APIs, databases, testing, version control, and dev practices.
• Foundational experience building AI-enabled applications using agents, orchestration, RAG, tool integrations, or related patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new domains, ask questions, and translate requirements into work.

Responsibilities

• Translate business workflows into technical builds with AI components.
• Build and deploy agentic systems and AI-enabled applications.
• Develop components of AI agents, including RAG pipelines and tool integrations.
• Write clean, tested code and support deployment and production operations.
• Create reusable code, evals, and documentation to speed future deployments.
