ARTAZN LLC, a Jadex Inc. company, is a Tennessee-based manufacturer of zinc strip and applied zinc products. We are hiring production operators for direct hire with training provided. Starting pay is $20+ per hour with shift premiums and a full benefits package including health, 401(k) match, and vacation after 6 months.

Must certify to operate a forklift and be willing to work 8- or 12-hour shifts, evenings and weekends, with overtime as needed. No experience required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related industrial experience preferred.
• Must certify to operate a forklift.
• Able to work 8- or 12-hour shifts, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate or tend machines that heat treat/stress relief materials by radiant or induction heat and/or burnish to remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, buff, hone, or polish.
• Position raw materials into machines using automated lifting/dumping systems.
• Remove parts from machines after specified times and air dry or cool parts.
• Record times parts are removed to document temperatures and production data.
• Move materials by forklift into inventory and use ERP to release/enter product.
• Perform operator care duties per work instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
