Charles River Laboratories is seeking an Animal Care Technician to join our Insourcing Solutions team. You will provide cage wash, general husbandry and investigative support following established protocols/guidance documents.

This role requires either a Life Sciences degree or CVT/LVT/RVT, or a high school diploma with one year of related experience. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $27.00 per hour, with location-based variation and benefits.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or CVT/LVT/RVT credential.
• High School Diploma/GED with 1 year related experience also acceptable.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Provide general husbandry and perform cage change procedures.
• Perform daily health observations and report abnormalities.
• Handle and restrain rodents.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and metrics.
• Operate cage washers, autoclaves and related equipment.
• Adhere to safety and hazardous materials disposal procedures.
• Provide logistical support and assist investigators as needed.
