Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Columbia, MO is hiring an Entry Level Analytical Scientist to join the Biochemistry team. You will gain hands-on experience with analytical testing techniques and industry-standard instrumentation in a regulated laboratory environment.

The role emphasizes GMP/GLP exposure, data generation and documentation, and collaboration with scientists to ensure quality and reliability of results. Monday–Friday, full-time, in Columbia, MO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.
• Ability to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing following established SOPs and methods.
• Generate, review, and document scientific data per GMP/GLP.
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation (HPLC/GC).
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and solutions.
• Record observations and results accurately.
• Support ongoing studies by following procedures and timelines.
• Collaborate with scientists and labs to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, organized, compliant lab environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform laboratory testing following established methods, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Generate, review, and document scientific data in accordance with GMP and GLP requirements
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, including HPLC and GC systems
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions
• Accurately record observations and experimental results
• Support ongoing studies and projects by following established procedures and timelines
• Collaborate with scientists and laboratory teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or another related scientific discipline
• Ability to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic or industry experience with HPLC, GC, or other analytical instrumentation
• Exposure to GLP, GMP, or regulated laboratory environments
• Familiarity with LIMS or electronic laboratory documentation systems
• Laboratory coursework, internships, undergraduate research, or industry experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new techniques and follow detailed procedures
