TriTechne is hiring an Aerial Lineman I – Telecom to join a field crew. You will assist with installing and maintaining aerial fiber optic and coaxial cables, read construction prints, and support safety procedures.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning core construction tasks while growing technical telecom skills. Great for those with a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and an interest in outdoor, physically demanding work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL preferred.
• 1–2 years in telecom, broadband, or construction is preferred.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain medical card.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and maintenance of aerial fiber optic and coaxial cables.
• Support cable lashing, strand placement, and pole hardware installation.
• Learn basic fiber splicing and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Use ladders, climbing gear, or bucket trucks to work at heights up to 25–30 feet.
• Read work orders, maps, and construction prints; follow safety procedures.
