Qualifications

  • Strong legal research and writing fundamentals.
  • Ability to interpret constitutional provisions, statutes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with judicial and quasi-judicial procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal representation and advisory services to NC state agencies and commissions.
  • Conduct legal research, draft instruments and documents.
  • Respond to inquiries from the public and other stakeholders.
  • Argue routine cases before appellate courts when required.
