You will assist with calculations, modeling, data analysis, and site measurements while coordinating with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure acoustical performance across various building projects.

Qualifications

• Assists with acoustical calculations, modeling and data analysis under guidance.
• Contributes to design recommendations, calculations, drawings and reports.
• Applies acoustics concepts to building, mechanical systems, and environmental noise.

Responsibilities

• Works with acoustical consultants, engineers, architects and staff to develop deliverables.
• Applies fundamental acoustics, engineering, physics to building acoustics and room acoustics.
• Assists with acoustical calculations, modeling and development of project recommendations.
• Participates in field measurements and site observations related to sound, noise, vibration and sound isolation.
• Assists evaluating architectural assemblies and building systems for acoustical performance.
• Coordinates acoustical design requirements with project team members.
• Uses technical software and analytical tools to support studies and deliverables.
• Assists senior staff with advanced acoustical analyses and design activities.
• Supports preparation and review of technical reports, drawings, specifications and presentations.
