Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED minimum required.
• Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Enter basic financial transactions, journal entries, and general ledger information into the accounting system with accuracy.
• Review source documents to confirm information is complete and matches system entries.
• Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records, receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation.
• Retrieve financial documents and records as requested for audits, reporting, or internal review.
• Cross-check transaction totals and system records to identify missing or inconsistent information.
• Flag numerical discrepancies, incomplete information, or unusual transactions for review by senior accounting staff.
• Support accounts and record clean-up activities in preparation for monthly and year-end close.
• Assist with routine accounting-related administrative tasks, including scanning, indexing, filing, and organizing financial documents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with established procedures.
• Learn and apply basic accounting procedures, systems, and terminology while developing skills for progression into higher-level accounting positions.
• Perform other duties, as assigned
