Job summary

Reliance One, Inc. is hiring a detail-oriented Temporary Accounting Clerk to support a client’s finance and accounting team in Canton, Ohio. The role involves data entry, invoice processing, record maintenance, and basic account reconciliation. A college or accounting degree is not required; ideal for entry-level candidates with strong Excel skills.

This is a temporary/contract position for approximately 3–6 months with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Zero to one year of general office or basic accounting experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial and accounting information into the system accurately.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical financial records.
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices using three-way matching.
• Assist with basic reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor and customer billing inquiries by phone and email.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
