Job summary

Textron in Augusta, GA is seeking an entry-level Accounting Analyst to contribute to daily cash management, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with multiple business units and teams to learn on the job and grow through mentorship and hands-on experience.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 0–2 years of experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and EPM/Hyperion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• 0–2 years of experience required.
• Strong data mining and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with all business units to manage and track cash results daily.
• Collaborate with vendor resolution, materials management to improve cash forecasting.
• Manage indirect spending platforms and improve processing accuracy.
• Create and analyze monthly performance vs forecast and budget.
• Develop and record journals and reconciliations for month-end closing.
• Assist with financial reporting including year-end tax, budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee acquisition, maintenance, and disposition of short-term leased vehicles and data.
• Maintain internal controls and GAAP compliance.
