Job summary

Fire Fighter Sales & Service Co. is seeking an Entry-Level Accounting Administrator to support the Finance Department with day-to-day AR and AP activities.

This role is ideal for someone starting their accounting career, is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn basic processes with training provided and growth opportunities within the team. Responsibilities include invoicing, posting payments, aging monitoring, vendor invoicing, PO matching, check runs, and general recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of accounting or administrative experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and sending customer invoices (Accounts Receivable).
• Post customer payments and monitor aging reports.
• Support month-end AR tasks and reconciliations.
• Enter vendor invoices and match with PO/receiving documents (Accounts Payable).
• Process check runs and electronic payments; maintain vendor records.
• Maintain digital and paper financial records; assist data entry and reconciliations.
• Provide support during month-end and year-end close.
